Paul Greengard Award

The dopamine community honors Paul Greengard’s distinguished and pioneering contributions to the field of molecular and cellular function of neurons by creating the Paul Greengard Award, which is established to encourage female participation in dopamine research. The award recipient will be chosen among female presenters based on their abstract submission. Dr. Greengard received the 2000 Nobel Prize for research in this field, and he donated the proceeds to fund the advancement of careers for women in biology.
